What this sheet is for

Keep every booking for a shared space in one visible place, which is the only reliable cure for double bookings.

Who it is for

Village halls, community centres, churches, clubs, sports grounds, small offices and anyone lending out a shared room or item.

How to use it

  1. Keep one sheet, on the wall or in the folder where bookings are taken.
  2. Fill it in while the person is asking, not afterwards.
  3. Record the set-up they want — it is the thing that gets forgotten on the day.
  4. Track keys out and back in the last column.
  5. Start a fresh sheet each month and keep the old ones.

What is on the sheet

The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
