Meeting Agenda Sheet
Circulate an agenda that keeps a meeting to time, by putting a named lead and a number of minutes against every item before anyone sits down.

A free printable minutes form — present and apologies, one row per agenda item with the decision, then the actions with owners and dates.
2 pages. Choose your paper size — both versions are laid out identically, so neither one gets shrunk to fit.

Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Take minutes that stay useful, by giving most of the page to the two things anyone actually reads them for later: what was decided and who agreed to do what.
Committees, clubs, residents' associations, charities, school groups, small businesses and anyone who has been handed the minute book.
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Enough that the decision makes sense, and no more. Minutes are not a transcript, and a long minute is less likely to be read or approved.
That depends on what kind of body you are and where you are. Registered charities, companies and public bodies often have specific duties about records and how long to keep them; a book club does not. Check what applies to you — this sheet takes no position on it.

Keep every agreed action in one place with a name and a date against it, so the next meeting starts from what happened rather than from memory.
Record why a decision was taken and what else was on the table, which is the question people actually ask months later.
We are building this library out steadily. Leave an address and we will send the new sheets as they are finished — nothing else, and no more than one email a week.
Sign-up is not live yet — we have not connected an email provider, so this form is switched off rather than quietly collecting addresses.
