Circulate an agenda that keeps a meeting to time, by putting a named lead and a number of minutes against every item before anyone sits down.
Chairs, secretaries, committee members and anyone who runs a recurring meeting that overruns.
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Take minutes that stay useful, by giving most of the page to the two things anyone actually reads them for later: what was decided and who agreed to do what.
Keep every agreed action in one place with a name and a date against it, so the next meeting starts from what happened rather than from memory.
Hand a shift, a job or a role over properly, on the assumption that the person taking it does not yet know what they do not know.
We are building this library out steadily. Leave an address and we will send the new sheets as they are finished — nothing else, and no more than one email a week.
Sign-up is not live yet — we have not connected an email provider, so this form is switched off rather than quietly collecting addresses.
