Air Line and Compressor Check Sheet
Turn the compressor from the thing nobody looks at into a routine round with a date against it, so water in the receiver and a fraying hose get caught early.
Workshop and tools · WT-25
A free printable pressure vessel register: each air receiver with its plate limit and written scheme, its safety valves, every examination and the actions from it.
2 pages. Choose your paper size — both versions are laid out identically, so neither one gets shrunk to fit.
Print it and write on it
Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Keep every receiver and vessel, its safety valves and its examination dates on one register. Nothing then runs past the date its written scheme gives without someone seeing it.
Workshop and site managers, maintenance engineers and anyone responsible for air receivers, pressure vessels and the safety valves fitted to them.
2 pages, in this order:
Printed under the title: Every air receiver and pressure vessel on site with its safety valves, its written scheme and each examination, so nothing runs past the date its scheme gives.
The plate and the scheme set the figures. No pressures, volumes or intervals are printed: copy each limit exactly as it appears on the plate or the written scheme of examination, and take the examination dates from that scheme. Which vessels need one depends on the rules where you are.

Because they belong to each vessel: the limits are on its plate and in its written scheme of examination, and the scheme sets how often it is examined. Copy them across exactly rather than relying on a figure from somewhere else.
That depends on the rules where you are and on the size and pressure of the system. Check with your insurer, your competent person or the regulator; the sheet records the scheme where you have one.
Turn the compressor from the thing nobody looks at into a routine round with a date against it, so water in the receiver and a fraying hose get caught early.
Record the tank drain that protects against internal corrosion, and keep the servicing history for a machine that holds pressure.
Keep track of what lifting gear you hold, what each item is marked at, and when each was last examined.
See everything that is due, and everything that is overdue, on one page instead of piecing it together from separate machine logs.
Every sheet, binder, game and puzzle on Upkeep Papers is free to download, with no email and no account. Making them is not free: each one takes days of research, design and checking, and the site costs money to run. If something here saved you time, you can buy us a coffee. It is entirely optional: nothing is locked, and nothing changes if you don’t.
