Air Compressor Maintenance Log
Record the tank drain that protects against internal corrosion, and keep the servicing history for a machine that holds pressure.
Garage and vehicle workshop · GV-02
A free printable workshop compressor check sheet — receiver drained, oil, belt and guard, cut-out reading, filter bowls, hoses and couplings, one row per check.
One page. Choose your paper size — both versions are laid out identically, so neither one gets shrunk to fit.
Print it and write on it
Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Turn the compressor from the thing nobody looks at into a routine round with a date against it, so water in the receiver and a fraying hose get caught early.
Any workshop with a compressor and a ring main — garages, bodyshops, tyre bays and small fabrication shops.
One page, top to bottom:
Printed under the title: The routine round for the workshop compressor and the air lines that hang off it — receiver drained, oil looked at, belt and guard, the reading it cuts out at and the leaks you can hear.
Readings, not targets. The reading the receiver is meant to reach, and how often it is meant to be drained and serviced, are the manufacturer's figures and the rules where you work. Write the cut-out reading you saw; compare it to the plate yourself. Servicing and repairs belong on the Air Compressor Maintenance Log, not here.
Write-on lines: Compressor make / model · Serial no. · Location · Plate cut-out reading
Table, 12 rows: Date · Receiver drained · Oil level · Belt & guard · Cut-out reading · Filter bowls drained · Hoses & couplings · Leaks heard · Checked by · Fault / action
That is set by the manufacturer's instructions and the rules where you work, which is why the sheet has a date column and not a frequency. Use it daily, weekly or whatever your own schedule says.
Because the right figure is on the compressor's own plate and differs by machine. You copy it into the header once, then write each cut-out reading beside it.
Record the tank drain that protects against internal corrosion, and keep the servicing history for a machine that holds pressure.
Keep a per-machine service history for fixed workshop equipment, so the consumable part numbers and the last service date live with the machine.
Stop the job that stalls because the right oil grade or a box of gloves ran out, by counting the shelf against a minimum you set yourself.
Get every tool you own onto one register with its serial number, so a theft, a fire or a claim starts from a list instead of from memory.

Making them is not free: each one takes days of research, design and checking, and the site costs money to run. If something here saved you time, you can buy us a coffee.
