What this sheet is for

Decide the day once, on paper, before the engine starts — and keep the gate codes, closing times and awkward approaches where the next driver can find them.

Who it is for

Multi-drop, courier and trade delivery drivers, and small businesses planning a van round for the day.

How to use it

  1. List every drop and collection in the order you will drive it, not the order the jobs arrived.
  2. Write the agreed window and your planned arrival against each one.
  3. Note access details — codes, contact names, vehicle restrictions — in the notes column.
  4. Mark planned breaks and the fuel stop before you set off.
  5. Fill in actual times and ticks as you go; total the day at the foot.

What is on the sheet

One page, top to bottom:

Printed under the title: The run planned before the engine starts — drops in order, the window each one has, access notes and the mileage between — so the day is decided on paper and not at every junction.

Write-on lines: Driver · Vehicle reg · Date · Start from · Finish at · Start mileage · Planned miles · Planned breaks (where) · Fuel stop

Drops and collections — in the order you will drive, not the order the jobs came in

Table, 14 rows: No. · Customer / site · Postcode · Window · Planned · Actual · Access / notes · Done

Write-on lines: Drops planned · Completed · Carried over · End mileage · Driver signature

Questions

Why does the sheet not say when to take a break?

Because driving-time and rest rules depend on the vehicle, the work and the rules where you drive, and your operator applies them. There is a blank for the breaks you have planned; the timing is yours to set from those rules.
