What this sheet is for
Give a driver one sheet showing the whole run, with a signature line per drop and a place to record refusals and returns.
Who it is for
Small hauliers, trades delivering materials, market traders, caterers and anyone running a multi-drop day.
How to use it
- Check the load against the sheet before leaving, and have somebody else check it.
- Get a signature and a time at every drop.
- Write discrepancies and refusals down at the door, in front of the customer.
- Record returns at the end of the run, before unloading.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Questions
Does it tell me how much I can carry?
No. Weight limits come from the vehicle's plate and the law where you are driving, and load securing requirements differ by country and load type. Getting those from a website instead of the plate is how vehicles end up overloaded.
