What this sheet is for
Put the whole movement on one page before it starts, so the bridge that will not take the height is found at the desk and not at the bridge.
Who it is for
Drivers and transport planners moving oversized or overweight loads — plant, structures, boats, machinery — on a one-off or regular basis.
How to use it
- Measure the load as it will travel, on the vehicle, and fill in the dimensions and weights.
- List every body you notified, when, and what conditions came back.
- Record the escort arranged and the movement window agreed.
- Write the route out leg by leg, naming each restriction and what you will do at it.
- Keep the sheet in the cab for the movement, and file it afterwards.

Your rules, your notice periods. Which dimensions count as abnormal, who has to be notified and how far ahead, and what escort is needed all depend on the rules where you drive and the route you take. This sheet records what you measured and who you told — the thresholds and notice periods are yours to look up.

Questions
Why no dimension thresholds or notice periods on the sheet?
Because what counts as abnormal, who has to be told and how far in advance differ by country and sometimes by road. Printing one set would be wrong for most readers. Look the figures up for where you are driving and record what you did.
Does one sheet cover a return journey?
Only if the return is on the same route with the same load. An empty return or a different route is a separate plan — copy the top block and write the new legs.
