What this sheet is for

Keep marks for a group and a term on one page, against tasks you name yourself.

Who it is for

Teachers, tutors, trainers, music and sports coaches and anyone marking the same group repeatedly.

How to use it

  1. Write your scale or scheme at the top so the sheet reads correctly later.
  2. Head each column with the task and the date.
  3. Record absence distinctly from a zero.
  4. Note anything about the group as a whole at the bottom.

What is on the sheet

The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.

Questions

Why is there no grading scale?

Because scales, boundaries and what they mean differ by country, school and year group. A printed one would be somebody else's, and marks recorded against it would mean nothing.
