What this sheet is for

Give a spelling test on a sheet that already has the numbering, the marking column and the corrections space laid out.

Who it is for

Teachers, tutors, home educators and parents practising at home.

How to use it

  1. Bring your own list — the sheet prints none.
  2. Have them write the corrections out in the section at the bottom, not on scrap.
  3. Keep the sheets in order; the pattern of errors is the useful part.
  4. Test the same list again a fortnight later on a fresh sheet.

What is on the sheet

The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
