What this sheet is for
Write a routine down once so it can be photocopied and repeated, instead of being remembered slightly differently each time.
Who it is for
Anyone with a recurring routine: opening up, closing down, loading a van, packing for a trip, handing over a shift, setting up a stall.
How to use it
- Write the list in the order the job is actually done.
- Keep it to what matters — a list of sixty items gets ticked without reading.
- Write it once in pen, then photocopy the master.
- Record anything not done and why, at the bottom.
- Revise the master when the job changes, and date the version.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
