How to use it

Group items by where they pack: case, hand luggage, worn, last minute.
Tick when it is in the bag, not when you have thought of it.
Keep the must-not-forget line short: documents, medication, chargers, keys.
Photocopy the master rather than rewriting it.

Why is there no list of what to pack?

Because a ready-made list is what stops people thinking about where they are actually going. What you need for a week camping and for three days of meetings have almost nothing in common. Yours will be better than ours.
