What this sheet is for
Turn a note into a record, by giving it a title, a date, ruled space and somewhere to sign.
Who it is for
Anyone who needs to write something down properly and keep it: statements, handovers, meeting notes, findings, day books.
How to use it
- Fill in the title block first. An untitled sheet is worthless in a year.
- Write in ink if it may be read back by somebody else later.
- Sign and date it, even when it is only for you.
- Number the pages if it runs to more than one.
- File it where the related paperwork already lives.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
