Courier Delivery Run Sheet
Keep a paper record of the round that survives a flat handheld, and settle a 'where is my parcel' query from the row it is on.

The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Answer 'where is it' with a row instead of a search of the van, and show the depot that a failed drop was the address's doing and not yours.
Couriers and multi-drop drivers, and the depot staff who field the calls about parcels that did not arrive.
One page, top to bottom:
Printed under the title: Every drop that did not happen — why it failed, what you left, where the parcel is now and when it went out again — so the depot and the customer get one straight answer.

The run sheet is one day in delivery order and has a row per stop. A failed delivery has a second and sometimes third life — a card, a call, a redelivery, a return — that does not fit on one row of a day sheet. This log follows the parcel until it is finished with.
That is the operator's or the sender's policy, not the sheet's. Log each attempt and the return date; the count is then there to read.

Give a driver one sheet showing the whole run, with a signature line per drop and a place to record refusals and returns.
Send goods with a note, or check a delivery in properly, with the discrepancy line that settles arguments weeks later.
Record what was checked at the door while the driver is still there, so a short delivery or a warm box is a dated line rather than an argument a week later.
