What this sheet is for
Send goods with a note, or check a delivery in properly, with the discrepancy line that settles arguments weeks later.
Who it is for
Small suppliers, makers, market traders, trades taking materials in, and anyone receiving deliveries on a site.
How to use it
- Check delivered against ordered before signing, not after the driver has gone.
- Write damage and shortages in the discrepancy box and let the driver see it.
- Note the time as well as the date.
- Keep a copy — a signed note with an empty discrepancy box is hard to contradict.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
