What this sheet is for

See at a glance which invoices are out, which are late and when each was last chased, which is the information that actually gets invoices paid.

Who it is for

Sole traders, freelancers, small contractors and anyone who invoices and then waits.

How to use it

  1. Add the row the day you send the invoice.
  2. Date each chase in the columns provided — 'I think I rang them' is not a record.
  3. Total the outstanding column when you review it, and write the date.
  4. Keep paid rows on the sheet; the history tells you who pays slowly.

What is on the sheet

The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
