What this sheet is for

Put an order in writing so the delivery note and the invoice can both be checked against what was actually agreed.

Who it is for

Small businesses, workshops, farms, builders, clubs and anyone ordering from trade suppliers.

How to use it

  1. Raise the order before the goods arrive, not afterwards.
  2. Record the part number as well as the description.
  3. Write the price you were quoted. That is the whole point of the sheet.
  4. Tick the received column against the delivery note.
  5. Check the invoice against this sheet before paying it.

What is on the sheet

The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
