What this sheet is for
Give a receipt for money taken and keep an identical copy, with the balance still owed written on both halves.
Who it is for
Trades taking deposits, market and craft sellers, private sellers, landlords taking rent in cash, and clubs collecting fees.
How to use it
- Fill in both halves at the same time, in front of the person paying.
- Always complete the balance line, even when the balance is nil.
- Number the receipts and keep your halves in order.
- Say what the money is for, not just how much it was.

Fill in the balance line every time. Two copies, one each. The balance line is the one that prevents an argument later, so fill it in even when the balance is nil.
