A free printable tyre fitting record sheet — what came off and went on at each wheel position, weights, valve, and the pressure and torque figures used.
One page. Choose your paper size — both versions are laid out identically, so neither one gets shrunk to fit.
Print it and write on it
Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Show, months later, which tyre went where and what it was torqued and inflated to. The source of those figures is on the sheet too.
Tyre bays, fast-fit centres and general workshops fitting or rotating tyres against a job card.
One page, top to bottom:
Printed under the title: What came off and what went on at each wheel position, the balance weights, the valve, and the pressure and torque figures used — with a line for where those figures came from.
Pressure and torque are the manufacturer's figures. The pressure and the wheel nut torque are the vehicle manufacturer's figures, not ours: look them up for this vehicle and write them in below with where you found them. The sheet records that they were used, not what they are.
Write-on lines: Job card no. · Vehicle reg · Make & model · Date · Pressure set to (mfr figure) · Source · Torque set to (mfr figure) · Source
Table, 5 rows: Position · Removed: size / make · Tread left · Fitted: size / make · Date code · Valve · Weights · Torqued
Write-on lines: Fitted by · Checked by · Torque recheck advised
Ruled lines: Notes — damage found on rims, wear pattern, anything advised
Because they are the vehicle manufacturer's figures and they differ between models, wheels and loads. The boxes at the top are for the figure you looked up and where you found it — that is the record that matters if it is ever questioned.
The week and year moulded into the sidewall of the tyre you fitted. Writing it down means a question about the age of a tyre can be answered from the sheet rather than from under the car.
See wear as a trend, so you can plan replacement instead of being told at a test that it is already too late.
Get the condition of the car agreed and signed before it goes anywhere. A scratch found at handback then has a record to be checked against.
Know at a glance whether a part is in yet, who fitted it, and where the old one went. The customer who asks for it back gets an answer.
Keep a service history in your own hands, so it survives changing garages and is there when you sell.
