Free cleaning job sheet — client and site, tasks ticked off, time on site, materials used and the charge worked out at your rate. PDF, Excel, browser.

One page. The A4 and US Letter files are laid out identically, so neither is shrunk to fit.

Fillable PDF type and save

Spreadsheet formulas included

The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.

Fill it in online

The same sheet, on screen. Totals and figures are worked out as you type, rows can be added or removed, and you can print it or download the completed version as a PDF. Everything stays in your browser — your entries are kept in this browser's own storage on this device, nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.

Who this is for

One visit, one sheet, signed off. It records the client and site, who cleaned, the arrival and departure times, which tasks were done, any materials charged for, and works out the charge from the hours and the rate you enter.

Domestic and commercial cleaning businesses, from a single cleaner to a small team, that want a record of each visit the client can sign.

What this helps you track

  • What was done on the visit, ticked task by task
  • How long the cleaner was on site
  • Materials or consumables supplied and what they cost
  • The charge for the visit, from your hours and your rate, plus materials
  • A client signature against the work actually done

How to use it

  1. Fill in the client, the site address, the date and who is cleaning.
  2. Write the arrival and departure times and the hours on site as a decimal, and your hourly rate — or a fixed job price in the rate field with 1 in the hours.
  3. Tick each task as it is finished. Add extras the client asked for on the blank lines.
  4. List any materials or consumables you are charging for, with the cost.
  5. The summary gives the labour, materials and total; the client signs at the foot. Keep a copy per visit and invoice from them.

Formats

  • Printable PDF (A4 and US Letter)
  • Fillable PDF with form fields
  • Fill in online, saved in your browser
  • Excel / Google Sheets workbook

The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The workbook uses plain formulas only — SUM, IF, COUNTIF and the like — so it opens in Excel, LibreOffice and Google Sheets without anything breaking, and every calculated cell is grey so you can see which figures it worked out.

How to print

Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.

Questions

Is this an invoice?

No. It is the record of the visit. Use it to raise the invoice — the invoice generator on this site takes the same figures — and keep the signed sheet as the evidence.

The task list does not match my jobs.

Tick what applies and ignore the rest, or add your own items in the browser version, where the list is editable and saved for next time. The printable has blank lines for extras.

Do I have to record the times?

Only if you charge by the hour or the client wants to know. For a fixed price, put 1 in the hours field and the job price as the rate, and the charge still works out.

Can I use it for a team?

Yes — write everyone on the cleaner line and the combined hours in the hours field, or one sheet per cleaner if you pay them separately.
