What this sheet is for

Turn reordering from a guess into a decision, by recording the level you have chosen to hold against what is actually on the shelf.

Who it is for

Workshops, garages, farms, maintenance teams and anyone who has run out of something mid-job.

How to use it

  1. Set a par level for each item once — the amount you want on the shelf, not the amount you happen to have today.
  2. Count at the shelf and write it down there.
  3. Record the part number and supplier the first time, so reordering never needs research.
  4. Mark what is already on order, or you will order it twice.

What is on the sheet

The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
