Batch Production Record
Record the batch codes going in and the destinations going out, so a recall or a complaint can be traced to one day's production rather than all of it.

Answer a recall, a warranty query or a customer complaint from one page: which batch arrived when, where it went and what is still on the shelf.
Warehouse and stores staff handling products that carry a batch, lot or serial number — parts, components, packaged goods, anything a supplier might recall.
One page, top to bottom:
Printed under the title: Every movement of one product by its batch, lot or serial numbers: what came in from whom, where it was put, and what went out to whom — so a recall or a warranty query can be answered from one page rather than a search.
One product, every movement. Fill in one sheet per product. Each row is one movement, in or out, so a batch that arrived on one line and left on three can be followed by its number. Which products need this level of tracing, and how long the sheet is kept, is your own quality system's call and the rules you trade under.
Write-on lines: Product / SKU · Description · Supplier · Unit of issue · Sheet from (date) · Sheet to (date) · Kept by
Table, 11 rows: Date · In · Out · Batch / lot no. · Serial no(s). · Qty · From / to · Doc ref · Location · Init.
Because shelf life belongs to the product and its supplier, not to a movement record. If a product carries a date, write it beside the batch number in the same cell — the sheet is deliberately not the place that decides how long a batch is good for.
Either. Write a single serial or a from–to range in the serial column, whichever the movement was. A batch that left in three parts gets three OUT rows, each with its own quantity and destination.
Record the batch codes going in and the destinations going out, so a recall or a complaint can be traced to one day's production rather than all of it.
Send one copy with the goods and keep one at the bench, so a short delivery can be traced to the line that was packed, checked and signed for.
Have the count, the seal and the damage on one signed page before the container leaves the yard, so a shortage claim rests on something written on the day.
Catch what is coming to the end of its date while there is still time to use it, and leave a dated record that the round was walked.
