Stock Count by Aisle Sheet
Count the shop the way it is laid out rather than the way the stock list is sorted, so every bay gets counted once and the gaps to a full shelf are visible on the same line as the count.

Know how long each window has stood and which stock is tied up in it, so items come back into stock, get marked down or go back to the prop box instead of being forgotten behind the glass.
Shop owners, visual merchandisers and whoever dresses the window in an independent shop, a boutique or a branch with its own displays.
2 pages, in this order:
Printed under the title: What went in the window, when, who dressed it and what came out — so the shop knows how long each display has stood and which stock and props are tied up in it.
The window is stock too. A window is stock that cannot be sold from the shelf until it comes down. List every item in the window by code so it can be put back into stock, marked down or returned when the display changes. How often a window should change is your call and your season's — write your own next-change date in.
Write-on lines: Shop / branch · Window · Dressed by · Date changed · Theme or promotion · Planned to stand until · Previous window taken down
Table, 11 rows: Code · Item · Qty · Size / colour · From · Ticketed · Back to stock · Condition
Table, 8 rows: Prop or fixture · Qty · Stored where · Returned · Damage noted
Write-on lines: Photo taken (where filed) · Window cleaned before dressing · Signed off by · Date
Ruled lines: Notes — what sold from it, what to keep for next time
Because that depends on your trade, your season and your street. Some shops change weekly, some for each promotion, some only when stock turns. The 'planned to stand until' field is for your own decision.
Because props go missing more often than stock does. A stand borrowed for the window and never returned to the prop box is the reason the next display starts with a search.
Count the shop the way it is laid out rather than the way the stock list is sorted, so every bay gets counted once and the gaps to a full shelf are visible on the same line as the count.
Publish your prices with the inclusions spelled out beside them, which is what stops the conversation about what was and was not covered.
Turn the first and last twenty minutes of the day into two short lists that get initialled, instead of a routine somebody remembers most of the time.
Keep one line per sale as it happens, with the payment recorded beside it, so the month adds up from something written on the day.
