Print it and write on it
Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Know exactly which parcels are on the shelf, which have gone and what was checked before each one left, so an order that goes missing can be traced.
Independent shops and branches that take online orders for collection at the counter, and the staff who hand them over.
One page, top to bottom:
Printed under the title: Every online order that arrives for collection in store — when it came in, where it was put, who it was handed to and what was checked before it left the counter.
Your policy decides what to ask for. What counts as proof of collection — an order email, a code, a card, a name and address — is your own click-and-collect policy, not this sheet's. Write what you accepted in the ID column so the record shows the check was actually made.
Write-on lines: Store / branch · Week beginning · Collection point · Kept by
Table, 12 rows: Arrived · Order no. · Customer name · Parcels · Shelf / bay · ID seen · Collected · Handed by · Notes
Because that is your click-and-collect policy, and it differs from shop to shop — some take an order email, some a code, some a card. The sheet asks you to write down what was shown, so the record proves a check was made under your own rules.
Note the date they were returned to stock or sent back in the Notes column and cross the line through. How long you hold them is your own policy.
Stop special orders and reserves living on scraps of paper behind the till, so a customer is told when their item lands and a reserve is released on the day you said it would be.
Have a carton count in your own hand next to every signature, so a short delivery is a claim and not an argument.
Keep one card per customer so the history of what was done, what it cost and when the next visit is due lives in one place.
Cash up consistently and record the difference every day, which is how a problem gets noticed in a week rather than in an audit.
Every sheet, binder, game and puzzle on Upkeep Papers is free to download, with no email and no account. Making them is not free: each one takes days of research, design and checking, and the site costs money to run. If something here saved you time, you can buy us a coffee. It is entirely optional: nothing is locked, and nothing changes if you don’t.
