What this sheet is for

Turn an assessment into a walk to a folder, by writing down in advance where every required record actually lives.

Who it is for

Members of any farm assurance scheme, and anyone facing an inspection.

How to use it

  1. Copy your own scheme's headings into the left column — we print none.
  2. Name the record and the folder, not the intention.
  3. Mark the gaps honestly; they are the point of doing this before the visit.
  4. Date each check so you know how stale the index is.

What is on the sheet

The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.

Questions

Why does the sheet not list the scheme requirements?

Because they differ by scheme, country and enterprise, and they change between versions of a standard. A printed list would be out of date and would give false comfort. Your scheme's current standard is the only correct source.
