What this sheet is for
Keep your own copy of every movement on and off, with the reference numbers that make it possible to answer a question about a load six months afterwards.
Who it is for
Smallholders and farms moving animals to market, to grazing, to slaughter or between holdings.
How to use it
- Record the movement on the day, then note the date you reported it.
- Write both holding numbers in full, yours and theirs.
- Keep the document reference — it is the thread that ties this to the official record.
- Note when your retention period ends so sheets are not thrown out early.
