Vehicle Valeting Job Sheet

A free printable car valeting job sheet — the work requested, the car's condition on arrival, who valeted it, start and finish times and a customer signature.

First page of the Vehicle Valeting Job Sheet — Agree what is included and what was already scratched before the first bucket is filled, so the handover is a signature rather than an argument.

What this sheet is for

Agree what is included and what was already scratched before the first bucket is filled, so the handover is a signature rather than an argument.

Who it is for

Valeting businesses, detailers, dealership prep bays and garages that valet as part of a service.

How to use it

  1. Fill in the customer, car and the package or price agreed at the counter.
  2. Tick the work included so the valeter knows what is in and what is not.
  3. Walk round the car with the customer and note existing damage and stains.
  4. Record who did it, when it started and finished and who checked it.
  5. Have the customer sign on collection and note anything left in the car.

What is on the sheet

One page, top to bottom:

Printed under the title: One car, one valet — what the customer asked for, what the car looked like when it came in, who did the work and when it was ready. Go round the car with the customer before it is touched and note every existing scratch, stain and burn. The price is whatever you agreed for this car and this package: there is a blank for it and nothing printed.

Questions

Why is there no price list?

Because your prices are yours and vary by car, condition and package. There is a blank for the price you agreed with this customer, and nothing else.

What goes in 'products / notes for next time'?

Anything the next valeter needs: a leather that marks easily, a customer who does not want air freshener, a stain that would not lift.
