What this sheet is for

Settle who was supposed to do what, and show quickly when one person is carrying more than their share.

Who it is for

DIY livery yards, shared horses, small yards and family arrangements.

How to use it

  1. Put it on the wall, not in a folder.
  2. Sign at the time, not at the end of the week.
  3. Include the weekly jobs nobody remembers — troughs, drains, muck heap.
  4. Review it monthly and change it rather than resenting it.

What is on the sheet

The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.

Questions

Should the rota include feeding?

Feeding belongs on the feed chart, where the quantities are. Keeping the two separate means the feed instructions do not have to be rewritten every week.
