What this sheet is for
Make a share or loan arrangement survive its first busy fortnight, by writing down who does what and having it ticked at the time.
Who it is for
Sharers, loaners, families with one horse and small DIY yards.
How to use it
- Agree the split before the week starts, not during it.
- Tick at the time. A chart filled in on Sunday proves nothing.
- Use the notes section for anything noticed about the horse.
- Review monthly — shares fail quietly when one person is doing more.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Questions
What if somebody keeps missing their days?
The chart makes it visible, which is usually enough. It is a record, not an enforcement mechanism, and a share arrangement with money in it is worth putting in writing separately.
