A day-a-line log for one horse. Morning and evening feeds, water and mucking out are ticked; turnout, exercise and rugs are written in; the last column carries anything the farrier, vet or dentist did or said, so a week on the yard reads at a glance.
Owners on DIY or part livery, sharers and grooms covering a horse between them, and yards that want a simple daily record per animal.
The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.
Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.
No. The feed is whatever your horse's own chart says, set by you, your vet or a nutritionist; this log has a line at the top to copy it in and ticks to show it was given.
What was done, briefly: hacked 40 min, schooled, lunged, rested. Enough for a sharer or an instructor to see the week. A fuller schooling diary exists separately.
That is what it is for. The initials column shows who did the morning and who did the evening, and the ticks stop anything being done twice or missed.
One sheet per horse keeps the ticks honest. For a whole yard's chores, the stable and yard cleaning rota is better.

Keep four kinds of routine care running on four different intervals visible on one page, so the next due date is read rather than guessed.
Keep a record of work done so that progress over a block is visible and a pattern of stiffness is noticed early.
Settle who was supposed to do what, and show quickly when one person is carrying more than their share.
