What this sheet is for
Hold your own weekly routine on one page and see what has actually been done. The jobs are yours to write in; the grid is the part worth printing.
Who it is for
Anyone running a household, a shared house or a flat, and cleaners who want the week written down rather than remembered.
How to use it
- Write the jobs you actually do down the left-hand column.
- Tick the day each one was done — the blank columns are the honest bit.
- Use the starting-point list above to catch anything you have been forgetting.
- Print a fresh copy each week and keep the last one until the new one is filled in.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Questions
Why does the sheet not tell me what to clean on which day?
Because the answer depends on your home, not on ours. A flat with one bathroom and a farmhouse with a dog do not share a routine, and a printed plan that fits neither gets thrown away. The short list on the sheet is a prompt to argue with, not a schedule to follow.
How is this different from the chore rota?
This one covers a single week and is usually filled in by one person. The chore rota runs across a month and splits the jobs between several people by name.
