What this sheet is for
Work through the deep-clean backlog one room at a time, and know which jobs you have actually done. Nobody remembers the extractor filter without a list.
Who it is for
Homeowners and tenants doing a spring clean, and anyone preparing a property for guests, viewings or a handover.
How to use it
- Start with one room rather than the whole house — the sheet is built to be done in pieces.
- Date each line as you finish it, so a clean spread over three weekends still adds up to a record.
- Cross out anything the property does not have and write in what it does.
- Keep the finished sheet — next time it tells you what you skipped.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Questions
How often does a deep clean need doing?
There is no interval that fits every home. What matters more is that the jobs on this list get done at all, because none of them appear in a weekly routine and most only become obvious once they are overdue.
Does this tell me what to clean things with?
No. This site does not give chemical guidance of any kind. Follow the instructions on whatever product you use and the advice in the manual for the appliance or surface concerned.
