The once-a-week jobs, grouped by room. Each room has its own short tick list, to be done in one session or spread across the week, a room at a time.
Households, flat-shares and anyone cleaning their own home to a weekly rhythm. Also useful as a plain hand-over sheet for a cleaner, with the jobs you want done ticked in advance.
The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.
Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.
That depends on your home and your standard, and we do not set one. The daily checklist covers the short everyday jobs and the monthly checklist covers the deeper ones; this sheet sits between them. Use whichever combination fits.
Yes. Tick or highlight the jobs you want done before handing it over, add anything particular to your home, and ask for the sheet back with the jobs ticked. It is not a contract or a price list — just the list of jobs.
Because the sheet is for any home and any standard. What you clean with, and how, is your choice; the sheet only records what was done.
Each room section has blank lines for your own items, and the browser version lets you add as many as you like. For an unusual room, the custom checklist generator builds a list from scratch.
The handful of jobs that make the biggest difference if done every day.
The less frequent jobs, listed so they are not forgotten between cleans.
Which room is cleaned on which day, agreed once and written down.
Which of your own tasks are done and which are still open.
Printable sheets, workbooks and tools on the same subject.
Hold your own weekly routine on one page and see what has actually been done. The jobs are yours to write in; the grid is the part worth printing.
Track linen out to the laundry and back again, so a missing set is noticed the week it goes missing rather than the season it runs out.
