Free daily cleaning checklist — the short everyday jobs down the side, the seven days across the top, one tick per job per day. PDF and browser versions.

The everyday jobs on a seven-day grid. The tasks that keep a house ticking over run down the left, the days of the week run across the top, and each one gets a tick when it is done — so a week of daily cleaning fits on one sheet.
Anyone who wants the small daily jobs to happen without thinking about them: busy households, people setting up a routine for the first time, and shared homes where the day's jobs need to be visible to everyone.
The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.
Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.
No. The list is a starting point, not a rule. Cross out what does not fit your home and add what does. The point of the grid is to see which jobs you actually do daily, not to hold you to somebody else's routine.
This one holds the short jobs that are repeated every day — beds, worktops, washing up. The weekly checklist holds the longer room-by-room jobs that are done once a week, grouped by room.
Yes. Either agree who does which rows, or initial the tick boxes instead of ticking them. The whole-house schedule is better if you want a named person against each room.
It saves in your own browser on that device. When the week is over, download it as a PDF if you want to keep it, then clear it for the next week.

Hold your own weekly routine on one page and see what has actually been done. The jobs are yours to write in; the grid is the part worth printing.
Split the jobs between everyone in the house before the month starts, so the question of whose turn it is has already been answered in writing.

Making them is not free: each one takes days of research, design and checking, and the site costs money to run. If something here saved you time, you can buy us a coffee. It is entirely optional: nothing is locked, and nothing changes if you don’t.
