A free printable bin and recycling collection chart — a year of collection days on one page, with a key for your own bins and their colours.
One page. Choose your paper size — both versions are laid out identically, so neither one gets shrunk to fit.
Print it and write on it
Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Get a year of collection days onto one page, so the right bin goes out on the right night. Nobody should have to check a website in the dark in a dressing gown.
Households, house shares, landlords briefing new tenants and anyone who has just moved to an area with a different collection scheme.
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Nothing on this sheet says, because collection schemes differ enormously between countries, councils and contractors — the colours, the contents and the frequency. Take yours from your own collection calendar and write it in the key.
Collections often move, and the chart has a column for each week so you can write the changed day in rather than remember it. Check your own calendar for the dates.
Answer the sitter's questions before they are asked, on paper, while you are still in the house and can walk them round to the stopcock.
Capture the things you need to know about a new property while you are still paying attention, rather than at two in the morning during a leak.
Hold your own weekly routine on one page and see what has actually been done. The jobs are yours to write in; the grid is the part worth printing.
We are building this library out steadily. Leave an address and we will send the new sheets as they are finished — nothing else, and no more than one email a week.
Sign-up is not live yet — we have not connected an email provider, so this form is switched off rather than quietly collecting addresses.
