What this sheet is for

Read back exactly what a boxer did in a camp — bag, pads, sparring or roadwork, and with whom — instead of guessing from a diary.

Who it is for

Amateur boxers, their coaches, and clubs that want one session record per boxer.

How to use it

  1. Fill in the boxer, club and coach at the top.
  2. Log every session with its type and the number of rounds.
  3. Record the sparring partner whenever there is one.
  4. Write the weight from the club scales each time, for the trend.
  5. Ask the coach to initial the note column at the end of the session.

What is on the sheet

One page, top to bottom:

Printed under the title: A boxer's own training diary — every gym session by type, rounds and partner, with the coach's note beside it, so what was actually done in a camp can be read back rather than remembered.

Your coach sets the sparring. Whether a boxer may spar, with whom, for how many rounds and in what protective equipment is set by your governing body and your coach — none of that is printed here. Weight is the boxer's own figure on the club scales, written for the trend.

Write-on lines: Boxer · Club / gym · Coach · Weight class (own)

Sessions — type: bag, pads, sparring, technical, conditioning, roadwork

Table, 12 rows: Date · Session type · Rounds · Round length · Sparring partner · Weight · Coach's note · Init.

Questions

Why is there no round length or number of sparring rounds printed?

Because how long a round is, how many a boxer may spar and what protection they wear are set by your governing body and your coach for that boxer. The sheet records what was done, not what is allowed.
