What this sheet is for

Stop a weekend running on three different timetables in three different pockets, and catch the session that moved before it is missed.

Who it is for

Drivers, team managers and helpers at club race meetings, hillclimbs, sprints and multi-day events.

How to use it

  1. Copy the organiser's final timetable into the table, day by day.
  2. Add a 'car ready by' time in front of each session, working back from the assembly area call.
  3. Put a name against each job so nobody assumes someone else is doing it.
  4. Check the notice board each morning and pencil in any changes.
  5. Tick each session off as it is done.

What is on the sheet

One page, top to bottom:

Printed under the title: The whole weekend on one page — every sign-on, scrutineering slot, briefing, session and podium, with when the car needs to be ready and who is doing what.

The organiser's timetable is the one that counts. Copy the times from the organiser's final timetable and check the notice board each morning — a session moved by a few minutes is the commonest way to miss one. This is the team's copy, not the official one.

Write-on lines: Event · Circuit · Dates · Class / championship · Race office / paddock contact · Garage / paddock bay · Sign-on location

Timetable — day in the first column; tick when the session is done

Table, 12 rows: Day · Time · Session / activity · Where · Car ready by · Who · Done · Notes

Questions

Why not just use the organiser's printed timetable?

Use both. The organiser's copy is the official one, but it does not say when your car needs to be fuelled, who is collecting the transponder or when the tyres go on. This sheet holds your side of the weekend next to their times.
