What to look for while you are up there
- Sagging runs or loose brackets
- Joints leaking or dripping
- Downpipes blocked at the shoe or the gully
- Water tracking down the wall — staining below the gutter line
- Plants growing in the gutter — the last warning before a blockage
- Fascia or soffit soft to the touch
