What was cleaned, how, and what it looked like afterwards. Each line records the area, the method, the product and equipment used and the time it took, so that next time you know what worked and what took all afternoon for nothing.
Householders who pressure wash their own paving, people who pay somebody to do it and want a record of when it was last done, and landlords keeping evidence of outside maintenance between tenancies.
The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The online version keeps what you enter in your own browser and builds the completed PDF on your device.
Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.
The sheet does not recommend one. Surfaces differ — natural stone, concrete, block paving, resin, decking — and the wrong product marks some of them. Read the product's label and, if in doubt, test a corner first and note it here.
As often as it needs it, which depends on shade, trees, traffic and climate. The record shows what you have actually done and when, so you can see your own pattern rather than follow somebody else's.
Not necessarily — some surfaces and some jointing are damaged by it. Check what the manufacturer of the surface says, and record in the notes what you used so the next person does not repeat a mistake.
It will hold the record, but a workplace cleaning regime usually has its own sign-off requirements. Check the rules where you are and use whatever form they call for.
Because it is the number that decides whether you do it yourself next year, and it is the one nobody remembers accurately.

What was done to each machine and when, in one place instead of a drawer of receipts.
Which trees and hedges there are, where they stand and what they are.
The jobs you have decided to do each month, in your own words.

Protect the pump, which is the expensive part and the one that dies from frost and from running dry.
Keep gutters on a schedule instead of clearing them after the damp appears, and record faults you spotted but did not fix.

Making them is not free: each one takes days of research, design and checking, and the site costs money to run. If something here saved you time, you can buy us a coffee.
