Keep the veterinary history and the insurance position in one place, which matters when a claim depends on showing continuity.
Equine records · EQ-22
A free printable equine first aid checklist — your own list of contents, checked against what is present, with expiry dates and what was used.
One page. Choose your paper size — both versions are laid out identically, so neither one gets shrunk to fit.
Print it and write on it
Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Keep the kit complete, because the time you discover the bandages were used in February is the night you need them.
Owners, yards, riding schools and anyone travelling with horses.
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
The sheet lists nothing. Contents are a matter for your vet, some items need a prescription, and what is available differs by country. The left column is blank so you can write the list your own vet gives you.
Keep the veterinary history and the insurance position in one place, which matters when a claim depends on showing continuity.
Check a kit against the contents list that applies to it and leave a dated record of what was missing, what had expired and what was put back.
Give whoever is standing in for you one page with everything they need, on the stable door rather than in a folder at home.
We are building this library out steadily. Leave an address and we will send the new sheets as they are finished — nothing else, and no more than one email a week.
Sign-up is not live yet — we have not connected an email provider, so this form is switched off rather than quietly collecting addresses.
