What this sheet is for
Bill metered electricity from two readings both sides watched, instead of from a number somebody wrote on the back of an envelope.
Who it is for
Touring parks, campsites and seasonal pitch sites that meter hook-ups rather than including them.
How to use it
- Note the bollard or socket and the meter serial so the right meter is read.
- Take the arrival reading with the guest present and write it straight in.
- Take the departure reading the same way before the unit moves off.
- Work out the units used and carry the figure to your own invoice or receipt.
- File the month's sheet with your site accounts.

Questions
Why is there no unit rate or standing charge on the sheet?
Because what you charge is yours to set, and what a unit costs you changes with your own supply contract. The sheet records the readings and the units; your price list and receipt carry the money.
What if the meter is changed mid-season?
Start a new row with the new serial number and the reading it started from, and note the change. The serial column is there so a swapped meter does not quietly break the arithmetic.
