The same sheet, on screen. Totals and figures are worked out as you type, rows can be added or removed, and you can print it or download the completed version as a PDF. Everything stays in your browser — your entries are kept in this browser's own storage on this device, nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.

Who this is for

Nothing forgotten before the fitter arrives. Every tap, light, handle, socket and piece of sanitaryware gets a row with its room, supplier, product reference and price, and ticks for delivered and fitted, with line totals and a project total.

Homeowners choosing their own fittings for a renovation, and anyone handing a list to an electrician, plumber or kitchen fitter who needs to know exactly what goes where.

What this helps you track

  • Every fitting in the project, room by room
  • The supplier and product reference to reorder or match it
  • Quantity, unit price and line total for each item
  • When each item was ordered and whether it has arrived
  • What has been fitted and what is still waiting

How to use it

  1. Write the project, the address, who prepared the schedule and the date of this version.
  2. Walk each room and list every fitting you are supplying: taps, lights, switches, sockets, handles, sanitaryware, rails and accessories.
  3. Add the supplier, the product reference, the quantity and the unit price for each; copy references exactly from the order or product page.
  4. Write the date each item was ordered and tick delivered and fitted as they happen.
  5. Line totals and the summary are worked out in the browser and the workbook; on paper, multiply quantity by price and add each room's rows.
  6. Give the fitter a copy before they start, and check it against the boxes on site the day before.

Formats

  • Printable PDF (A4 and US Letter)
  • Fillable PDF with form fields
  • Fill in online, saved in your browser
  • Excel / Google Sheets workbook

The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The workbook uses plain formulas only — SUM, IF, COUNTIF and the like — so it opens in Excel, LibreOffice and Google Sheets without anything breaking, and every calculated cell is grey so you can see which figures it worked out.

How to print

Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.

Questions

Why keep the product reference?

Because a description like chrome mixer tap matches hundreds of products. The exact reference lets the fitter check the box, lets you reorder a matching item and settles any argument about what was agreed.

How do I get room subtotals?

Keep each room's items together on consecutive rows and add them on paper, or sort by the room column in the workbook and use a subtotal. The project total and the counts in the summary cover every row.

What does the version date do?

Schedules change as choices are made. Dating each copy means the fitter, the supplier and you can see whether you are working from the same list.

Should items the builder supplies go on here?

Only if you want a record of them. The schedule is most useful for the items you are choosing and buying yourself, since those are the ones that go missing or arrive late.
