Spreadsheet formulas included

The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.

Fill it in online

The same sheet, on screen. Totals and figures are worked out as you type, rows can be added or removed, and you can print it or download the completed version as a PDF. Everything stays in your browser — your entries are kept in this browser's own storage on this device, nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.

Who this is for

A creator's own record of money in. Sponsored posts, affiliate commissions, ad revenue and tips each get a row with the amount expected, the amount received and the date it landed, and the sheet works out what is still owed.

Bloggers, video makers, podcasters and social media creators paid by several brands and platforms, who need their own record rather than a pile of dashboards.

What this helps you track

  • Every sponsorship, commission, payout and tip in date order
  • What was invoiced or expected against what actually arrived
  • What each brand or platform still owes
  • Total received and total outstanding for the period
  • A tidy record to hand to whoever does your tax return

How to use it

  1. Write your name or channel and the tax year or period at the top.
  2. Add a row whenever income is agreed or earned: the date, the brand or platform, the type and a short description.
  3. Enter the amount invoiced or expected, then the amount received and the date it arrived when it lands.
  4. Still owed is worked out in the browser and the workbook; on paper, subtract received from expected.
  5. Chase anything still owed past its payment date, and filter the workbook by type to see totals for each income source.
  6. Keep it with your invoices and platform statements; whatever tax rules apply where you are decide what to do with the totals.

Formats

  • Printable PDF (A4 and US Letter)
  • Fillable PDF with form fields
  • Fill in online, saved in your browser
  • Excel / Google Sheets workbook

The printable is laid out inside a box that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the two files are identical and neither one is scaled. The fillable PDF has real form fields. The workbook uses plain formulas only — SUM, IF, COUNTIF and the like — so it opens in Excel, LibreOffice and Google Sheets without anything breaking, and every calculated cell is grey so you can see which figures it worked out.

How to print

Download the A4 or US Letter file to match the paper in your printer, open it in a PDF reader and print at 100% — not "fit to page", which shrinks the writing space. Both files leave a 14 mm margin, which clears the unprintable edge on home printers. To print the online version with your entries in it, use the Print this sheet button, which prints only the sheet and none of the page around it. More on printing.

Questions

What goes in the expected column for affiliate income?

The commission shown on the affiliate dashboard for the period, or the amount due when it is paid out. Platforms often hold earnings before paying, so expected and received can be weeks apart.

How do I see the total for each type of income?

In the workbook, use the filter on the type column and the totals row adds up only the rows showing. On paper, add each type in the notes area at the end of the period.

Should gifted products go on the log?

You can record them with the value you were told or a zero amount and a note. Whether they count as income depends on the tax rules where you are, so check with your tax authority or adviser.

Does the sheet work out tax?

No. It records what you were paid and what is owed. It carries no tax rate or allowance; the totals are figures to take to your own tax return or adviser.
