A free printable seacock inspection record: every through-hull numbered with its valve, hose and clips, then a log of each time it was worked, greased or checked.
2 pages. Choose your paper size — both versions are laid out identically, so neither one gets shrunk to fit.

The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
Notice a seized valve or a rotten hose clip at the berth, not when water is coming in. Every fitting gets a number, and every check gets a dated line.
Boat owners, and anyone looking after a club or shared boat with fittings below the waterline.
2 pages, in this order:
Printed under the title: Every hole in the hull numbered once, with what it is for and the valve, hose and clips on it, then a dated line each time a seacock is worked, greased or inspected, afloat and when the boat is hauled out.
Work them, then write it down. Seacocks that are never moved seize. Open and close each one through its full travel as often as your surveyor, yard or the valve maker advises, and grease or service it the way the maker says. No grease, hose size, clip type or interval is printed here: write in what your own fittings need, and ask a surveyor about anything that looks wrong.

The sheet does not say, because it depends on the valve type, the maker and the water the boat sits in. Ask your surveyor or yard, or follow the valve maker's instructions, and use the log to show it has been done.
Many owners keep a softwood plug tied to each fitting so it can be found in a hurry. The column is a reminder to check it is still there; whether you carry them is your choice.

Know exactly what is on the hull before you buy the next tin. The haul-out lines then show whether the paint you chose actually kept the growth off.
Track battery voltages as a series rather than a single reading, so a bank that is dying is obvious well before it strands you.
Give every crew the same briefing before the boat leaves, regulars included. Each topic is shown and ticked, and the crew initial the foot.
Rule a weak boat out at the viewing, before paying for a survey. Each area is graded good, fair or poor with notes, and the papers and answers sit beside it.
