A free printable training matrix — a row per person and blank columns for your own courses, tickets and checks, with the date in each square.
One page. Choose your paper size — both versions are laid out identically, so neither one gets shrunk to fit.
Print it and write on it
Fill it in type and save
The fillable versions have real form fields — open them in any PDF reader, type into them and save. Printing help.
See at a glance who has been trained in what and which squares are blank, across a whole team on a single page.
Small employers, site managers, care and catering teams, workshops, clubs and anyone who has been asked to prove that people are trained.
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Because required training differs by country, by sector and by task, and a printed list would be wrong for every trade but one. What must be done, how often it must be repeated and what evidence counts are for you to establish.
Record that somebody was actually watched doing the task, rather than that they attended a course about it.
Get somebody started properly, with the checks, paperwork, safety induction and equipment handled as a list rather than remembered in pieces.
Record a short on-site briefing and, more usefully, what the people listening raised in response to it.
We are building this library out steadily. Leave an address and we will send the new sheets as they are finished — nothing else, and no more than one email a week.
Sign-up is not live yet — we have not connected an email provider, so this form is switched off rather than quietly collecting addresses.
