What this sheet is for

See at a glance which spaces are let, which are empty and who is behind on payment, without opening a single customer file.

Who it is for

Container storage yards, lock-up sites and anyone letting a handful of units or open bays on their own land.

How to use it

  1. List every space on the site once, including the empty ones.
  2. Fill in the customer, start date and rate as each space is let.
  3. Update the paid-to column whenever a payment comes in.
  4. Mark a space reserved or empty the day it changes, not at month end.
  5. Start a fresh register when the old one is too crossed out to read.

What is on the sheet

One page, top to bottom:

Printed under the title: Every container, unit and open yard bay on one site, one row each — who has it, from when, what they pay and whether it is let, reserved or empty.

Occupancy at a glance. This is the site-wide picture, not the customer file. The rate column is for whatever your own price list says for that space; the agreement each customer signed is the record of terms, and this sheet does not restate them.

Questions

Why is there no rate printed on the sheet?

Because the rate for a container, a lock-up and an open bay is yours to set and changes site by site. The column is for whatever your own price list says; the sheet does not suggest one.

Is this the customer's agreement?

No. It is an occupancy register for the site. The terms a customer signed up to are in the agreement they signed, and this sheet does not restate them.
