Keep one master sheet behind the printed list, the cellar shelves and the till, so a bin number means the same wine in all three places.
Restaurant and bar managers, sommeliers and anyone who maintains a wine list and the shelves it points at.
One page, top to bottom:
Printed under the title: The wines you currently list, each with its bin number, where it lives, how it is sold and how many are on the shelf — the master sheet behind the printed list and the till buttons.
Bin numbers are addresses. Selling prices and measures are your own, set by house policy and the rules where you trade, so the price column is blank for you to fill from your list. A bin number is just a shelf address: give every wine one and never reuse it for a different wine.

Because pricing is yours: what you charge, whether you sell by the glass, and what a glass measure is are set by house policy and the rules where you trade. The column is there so the sheet matches your list, not so we can suggest a figure.
An inventory counts bottles for their own sake. This sheet is about the list: the wines you sell, in list order, tied to a bin number and a till code. Use the Wine Cellar Inventory for a collection, and this for a trading list.
See what is in the cellar and where each bottle sits, so stock can be counted and a particular wine found without disturbing the rest of the rack.
Count stock area by area and see the variance beside the count, so a stock take produces a number you can act on rather than a vague reassurance.
Give the stocktaker a line for every loss, so a gap between stock and sales can be explained rather than argued about.
Plan the prep against the covers you are actually expecting, and settle who is doing what before service rather than during it.

Making them is not free: each one takes days of research, design and checking, and the site costs money to run. If something here saved you time, you can buy us a coffee. It is entirely optional: nothing is locked, and nothing changes if you don’t.
