What this sheet is for
Keep one continuous record of everything that has been serviced, repaired or replaced, so the history of the building exists in one place rather than in a drawer of loose invoices.

Homeowners planning to sell eventually, landlords, and anyone who has ever tried to remember when the boiler was last serviced.
How to use it
- Add a line every time work is done, however small.
- Always write the company name and invoice number — that is what makes a line verifiable years later.
- Keep the receipts in the same folder in the same order.
- Start a new sheet when this one fills; number them.
What is on the sheet

How to use this sheet

- Write the trade name and the invoice number — that is what makes a line verifiable later.
- Keep receipts in the same folder, in the same order as these lines.

Questions
Why not just keep the invoices?
Because invoices are hard to search and easy to lose. The register is an index: it tells you at a glance what has been done and points you at the paperwork.
Does this help when selling?
It gives a buyer something concrete instead of assurances. It is not a legal document and it does not replace certificates for gas, electrical or other regulated work — keep those as well.
