Tractor Service Record
Service by hours rather than by date, which is how tractor intervals are actually specified.

A free printable hydraulic hose record: every hose on a machine mapped and numbered, inspections for abrasion, blisters, cracks and leaks, and replacements.

Know which hose is which, what is printed on it and when it was last looked at. A worn hose is then changed in the yard rather than bursting on the job.
Farmers, contractors, plant and machinery owners, and mechanics looking after tractors, loaders, diggers, tippers and splitters.
2 pages, in this order:
Printed under the title: Every hydraulic hose on one machine numbered and mapped once, then each inspection hose by hose and every replacement with its specification, so a failing hose is changed before it bursts.
Pressure off, hands off. Inspect with the engine off, attachments lowered and the pressure released as the machine's manual says. Never run a hand along a hose to find a leak: fluid under pressure can go through skin. No pressures, sizes or replacement intervals are printed; copy the specification from the hose's own printing or the parts book.

Because hose life depends on the hose, the pressure, the heat and how it is routed, and makers and machine builders set their own guidance. The sheet records what each inspection found, which is what tells you a hose is going.
With the pressure released as the machine's manual says, by eye and with a piece of card held near the hose. Never with a hand: a pinhole leak under pressure can put fluid through skin.

Catch a weeping fitting, a sticking lever or a chipped wedge before the splitter is started. The back keeps the fluid, filter, hose and wedge history by hours.
See at a glance how many teeth went on and when, and catch loose pockets and bolts before a tooth leaves the wheel at speed.
Keep a week of daily walk-around checks on a single sheet that lives with the machine, so the record is made where the machine is rather than in an office.
Every sheet, binder, game and puzzle on Upkeep Papers is free to download, with no email and no account. Making them is not free: each one takes days of research, design and checking, and the site costs money to run. If something here saved you time, you can buy us a coffee. It is entirely optional: nothing is locked, and nothing changes if you don’t.
