What this sheet is for
Record yields per animal daily, with the notes that turn an unexplained drop into an early warning.
Who it is for
Smallholder dairies, house cows, small herds and anyone recording by hand.
How to use it
- Record morning and evening separately, then total.
- Write health notes on the day, however trivial they seem.
- Note feed changes — they show up in the yield within days.
- File completed months; the year read back is where the pattern is.
What is on the sheet
The layout is fixed at a size that fits both A4 and US Letter, so the A4 and Letter files are visually identical and print at full size on either. Rows are set at a height that an adult can actually write a date and a few words into with a pen — most printable tables are built in a word processor and never tested with one.
Questions
Does this replace official milk recording?
No. Official recording schemes have their own methods, equipment and forms, and produce figures that are accepted by breed societies. This is a working record for your own use.
